Quicksilver Scientific^®’s CLIA-certified laboratory specializes in advanced mercury speciation testing, using the patented Mercury Tri-Test. This test utilizes samples of hair, blood, and urine to assess for the body’s mercury burden and its ability to eliminate it. This test helps practitioners and patients to understand the magnitude and source of mercury exposure, as well as if additional support is needed in the process of mercury detoxification.

Quicksilver Scientific^®’s Blood Metals Panel screens for a broad range of potentially toxic and nutrient metals to show elevated exposure to toxic metals or imbalances of nutrient metals in whole blood. SpectraCell Laboratories (SCL) is a U.S. based, CLIA certified laboratory. SpectraCell is part of ICL’s network of specialty laboratories offering services for naturopathic care.

Micronutrient Testing (Whole Blood)

SpectraCell’s Micronutrient Testing using the patient’s own lymphocytes offers a unique means to scientifically assess the intracellular requirements of micronutrients that play an important role in overall health and wellness. Since lymphocytes are produced in the bone marrow and stored in the peripheral locations for long periods of time (the average life span of a lymphocyte is approximately four to six months), SpectraCell’s measurements provide a powerful portrait of each patients’ long-term nutrient status. This is analogous to the use of a glycosylated hemoglobin test to evaluate blood glucose levels over a one to three month period.
