IgG Food MAP with Candida + Yeast, Blood Spot

Orderable by Ontario ND

Test

Clinical Utility

The IgG Food MAP with Candida + Yeast measures IgG antibodies to a broad panel of food antigens and two microbial antigens (Candida albicans and Saccharomyces cerevisiae).

In clinical practice, the test is most often used to:

  • Identify patterns of immune reactivity to commonly consumed foods

  • Support guided elimination or rotation diets

  • Help clinicians prioritize foods for temporary dietary modification

  • Provide additional context when symptoms are chronic, nonspecific, or delayed (e.g., gastrointestinal complaints, headaches, fatigue, skin symptoms)

The inclusion of Candida albicans and yeast antigens is intended to provide information on immune exposure or reactivity, which some clinicians use alongside clinical history when evaluating patients with suspected dysbiosis-related symptoms.
