Test
Clinical Utility
The Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory Fecal Gluten Peptide Test is a stool-based assay that provides a direct, quantitative measurement of gluten exposure by detecting the 33-mer gliadin peptide in stool. The test is used to assess recent gluten ingestion, monitor adherence to a gluten-free diet, identify unintentional or hidden gluten exposure, and support evaluation of persistent symptoms in individuals with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity. The assay detects gluten exposure within approximately two to four days of ingestion.
