Test
Clinical Utility
The Doctor’s Data Celiac and Gluten Sensitivity Profile is a serum-based antibody assessment that evaluates markers associated with celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS), and wheat allergy. The profile measures IgA and IgG antibodies to tissue transglutaminase (tTG), deamidated gliadin peptide (DGP), and gliadin, together with total IgA and wheat-specific IgE. The test is used to evaluate immune responses to gluten and wheat and to help differentiate celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and IgE-mediated wheat allergy. For optimal antibody detection, patients should be consuming a gluten-containing diet prior to testing.
